  • This year

    Element Film Festival is an annual student filmmaking event held in Bozeman, Montana. It began as a way for filmmakers of MSU’s MFA program in science and natural history filmmaking to showcase their work to the community. 2010 marked the first year that this festival was open to student filmmakers worldwide and it was a success. We look for innovative student filmmakers that strive to improve our understanding of science and the natural world through film. We accept films from the traditional to the transformative, from the informational to the inspirational.
 Past Element films and filmmakers have won numerous awards and recognitions, including National Student Emmys and Tellies. These films…
